An accomplished civil engineer with multiple years of experience, Alison Maslar-Donar is committed to making a positive contribution to the engineering community. An alumnus of Purdue University, where she studied civil engineering, Alison R. Maslar-Donar is currently pursuing a master of science in construction management at the same institution.
She has served as a team leader and mentor at the ACE Mentor Program in Chicago, where she mentored a team of Chicago Public School (CPS) students to showcase career opportunities in architecture, construction, and the engineering industry. During the course of her career, Alison Maslar-Donar has participated in numerous conferences, including in 2018, when she was a volunteer and attendee at the Greenbuild Conference + Expo in Chicago. Additionally, Ms. Maslar-Donar attends the 7x24 Exchange Spring Conference in Orlando, Florida.
Alison Maslar-Donar has a wide variety of interests, including Broadway theatre, traveling, hiking, cooking, baking, and classic movies. A Chicago enthusiast, Ms. Maslar-Donar loves visiting the Art Institute and the Museum of Science and Industry. On the weekends, Alison enjoys reading novels such as Louise Penny’s Chief Inspector Gamache Three Pines Series, exploring the fall foliage at the Morton Arboretum or catching a Purdue football game.
